Vintage coin collection in red tin
I found a vintage coin collection this afternoon around 3:30pm, lying on the Bricktown Canal walkway near the Chesapeake Energy Arena in downtown Oklahoma City. It’s in a small red metal tin, about 4x3 inches, with a dented lid but everything inside seems intact. There are roughly two dozen coins from the 1920s through the 1960s, including a couple of wheat pennies and a buffalo nickel; one coin has a tiny heart scratched into the edge and a faint 'D' mint mark. The tin lid also has a hand-drawn sticker reading 'C.R. Collection' with a tiny star doodle. If someone recognizes these as theirs, I’d be glad to arrange a meetup to return them.
Blue Nike running shoes, size 9
I lost my blue Nike running shoes, size 9, yesterday around 3pm outside the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Reno Ave near the canal. They're bright electric blue with a white Nike swoosh, white midsoles, and the left shoe has a small tear along the outer toe. The laces are white, but I tied a pink knot in the top eyelet as a personal touch. They mean a lot to me because I trained for a charity 10k wearing them and they were a gift from my sister, so they feel really sentimental. If you happened to pick them up, a quick DM here would mean the world—I really need them back.
Found orange Spalding basketball near Bricktown Canal
I found this basketball this afternoon around 1:40pm, sitting on the sidewalk by the Bricktown Canal near the 2nd Street Bridge in Oklahoma City. It's a standard 29.5-inch Spalding NBA basketball, bright orange with black seams, and a few light scrapes from street use. There’s a small green star sticker on one panel and the initials 'CW' lightly carved on another panel. It seems to be in decent shape, though slightly deflated. If this is your ball, tell me the sticker details or the approximate size to verify and I’ll hand it over.
