Vintage 1980s G.I. Joe figure with accessories
I lost my vintage 1980s G.I. Joe action figure, yesterday around 3pm, near the downtown Ocala Square by City Hall on S Magnolia Ave. It’s a 12-inch figure wearing forest-green camo jacket and tan pants with a removable brown vest. One distinguishing feature is a tiny silver paint chip on the left kneecap and a faint compass sticker on the inside of the left forearm. This is a Collectors Items piece, and it meant a lot to me—my grandfather gave it to me—and I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Blue tin with vintage enamel pins
I found a small blue tin full of vintage enamel pins this afternoon around 1:45pm behind the Publix on College Road in Ocala. The tin is about the size of a deck of cards, a bit battered, and has a white star sticker on the lid. Inside are roughly 20 pins, including a bright yellow sun, a red dragonfly, and a Superman-esque shield. There’s also a tiny black leather-bound notebook with the initials 'M.R.' embossed on the cover. It feels like someone put real care into these, so I’d love to help get them back to their rightful owner.
Original 1977 Luke Skywalker action figure on vintage card
I lost my original 1977 Luke Skywalker action figure, still on its vintage Kenner card, yesterday around 3pm. It's the tan-tunic Luke with a blue lightsaber, and the card back is the Episode IV design; the bubble is slightly yellowed and there's a small crease at the bottom-right. I was browsing near The Coffee Loft on East Fort King Street in Ocala when I must have set it down. This figure has sentimental value—it's been in my Star Wars collection for years and came from my dad. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back and I’m happy to arrange a pickup in Ocala.
Framed landscape painting with ornate gold frame
I found a framed landscape painting this afternoon around 3:15 pm behind the small coffee shop on East Silver Springs Boulevard, near the Appleton Museum area in Ocala. It's a 12x16 inch canvas, depicting a sunset over a calm lake with pine silhouettes. The frame is ornate gold, with a couple of chips along the bottom edge. There's a faint signature in the lower right that reads 'L. Rivera', and a small sticker on the back labeled 'Sunset Edition, #23'. It was sitting on a bench under light rain, and I figured someone might be missing it. If you're the owner, I’d love to help return it—happy to meet up near the square.
Lost bright pink stuffed unicorn with shimmering horn and bow at the park near Ocala Plaza.
My daughter lost her favorite bright pink stuffed unicorn at the park near the Ocala Plaza last Saturday. It's about 12 inches tall with a shimmering horn and a little bow on its neck. She is heartbroken without it, so we're hoping to find it soon. If anyone has seen it, please let me know!
