Lost: Holiday decorations in Nottingham

On Saturday at about 7:20 pm I realized my holiday decorations were missing from the living room of my flat on St James's Street, not far from Nottingham Castle. I think I must have left them on the sofa when I dashed out to grab my coat, and I came back to an empty hook and the soft glow of fairy lights still on. The set includes gold tinsel, a red-nosed reindeer, and a small battery-powered snowman that plays a tune when switched on. Losing them hurts more than the dusting of cold air—they bring back family traditions and a sense of festive comfort.
