Found cockatiel near Coe Memorial Park, Torrington
I found a cockatiel this afternoon around 3:15pm on Main Street, in front of the Stop & Shop near Coe Memorial Park in Torrington, Northwestern CT. It's a gray-bodied bird with a bright yellow crest and orange cheek patches, about the size of a small robin. It wears a silver leg band with 'CT22' etched on it and a tiny blue dot on its left wing, which I thought would help ID. The bird seems a bit skittish but it's clearly someone's pet, and I kept it safe in a travel cage I always carry in the car while I looked for its owner. Found a gray tabby cat with white paws this afternoon around 3:15 pm in the parking lot behind the Torrington Downtown Library on Water Street. It wears a bright green collar with a small silver bell and has a tiny scar just behind its right ear. The cat is medium-sized, with a glossy coat, and very friendly—purring when I gently petted it. No ID on the collar and it doesn’t seem injured, so I brought it to a safe spot nearby while I try to locate its owner. I lost my blue nylon dog collar with reflective stitching yesterday around 3pm outside the CVS on Main Street in New Milford. It's an adjustable collar, about 1 inch wide, with a small circular metal tag engraved 'Rosie' and a little paw print on the back, plus a faint red chew mark near the buckle. The collar is a bit worn but sturdy, and the reflective stripe makes it easy to spot at night. Rosie is my rescue dog and that tag holds a lot of sentimental value for me—if anyone found it, please get in touch; I really need it back.

I lost my golden-brown mixed-breed dog yesterday around 3pm near Torrington's Main Street in Northwestern CT, outside the CVS in downtown Torrington. She's about 40 pounds with a short coat, white chest, and a small white patch on the left front paw. She wears a bright red collar and a blue bone-shaped tag that says 'Mira'. There’s a tiny scar on her right ear from a past scrape. She’s friendly but shy with strangers, and this dog means the world to us—she was a gift from my grandmother and has a lot of sentimental value. I lost my leopard gecko, Pixel, yesterday around 3pm. It’s about 6 inches long, pale yellow with irregular brown spots, and a chunky tail. I last saw it near the Kent Green on Main Street, by the Village Market, in a clear 6x8 inch terrarium with a blue LED light and a green lid. Pixel has sentimental value—the kids adore him, and we’ve had him for about four years. There are two identifying marks you should know: a thin black ring around the base of his tail and a tiny blue marker dot on the left front toe. If anyone finds Pixel, please get in touch. I found a small green budgie with a sunny yellow head this afternoon around 1:15pm in Northwestern CT, perched on the fence behind the Stop & Shop on Main Street in Torrington. I spotted him near the Torrington Public Library area; he seems curious and fairly tame, chirping softly when I spoke to him. He has a blue leg band on his left leg with the code 'T3-24' and a tiny white feather jutting from his right wing, which helps identify him.
