I was walking along Broad Street in downtown Rome, Northwest Georgia, around 9:15 this morning when I spotted two toasters sitting on a bench outside a cafe. They looked a bit weathered but functional, with cords neatly coiled as if someone had started breakfast and stepped away. I picked them up and left them in the cafe’s back area, hoping the owner would notice them nearby and come looking in the same spot.

They were lying on the sidewalk next to a discarded tote bag, half-hidden by a vending machine sign. I picked them up to keep them from getting stepped on and brought them here, hoping they belong to someone who can recognize them. It's the yellow-and-black model with a rubber grip and a small dent on the metal housing near the chuck; there’s a blue Sharpie mark "PP" on the battery door. It's well-used but still reliable, and I rely on it for weekend furniture projects.
