Found hand-painted ceramic vase with teal glaze and gold specks
I found a hand-painted ceramic vase this afternoon around 2:15pm, tucked behind the Grainger Market entrance on Grainger Street in Newcastle. It's about 25 cm tall, with a glossy teal glaze and tiny gold specks that catch the light. The rim has a tiny chip, and the base bears the initials 'AK 21' in pencil underglaze—a subtle mark that could help identify it. It’s a charming little art piece, in good condition besides the rim nick, and it stood out among some vendor crates. If this vase belongs to someone, I’d really like to get it back to its owner.
Vintage stamp album with rare UK stamps, red spine
I lost my vintage stamp album yesterday around 3pm near the Grainger Market entrance on Grainger Street in Newcastle. It’s a slim, black leather-bound album with a red spine, about the size of an A5 notepad, a bit worn along the spine. Inside are stamps from the 1960s to the 1980s, neatly organized in clear sleeves, with a few Canadian and Australian issues included. There’s a faint coffee stain on the back cover and a small pencil note on the inside front page that reads 'Deluxe Collection'. This album means a lot to me—it’s been in the family for generations and I really need to get it back.
Found a hand-painted ceramic vase with bright floral design near the Quayside in Newcastle.
I found a beautiful hand-painted ceramic vase while I was walking along the Quayside in Newcastle. It looks like it may have fallen from someone's bag. It has a floral design with bright colors and is about a foot tall. If you've lost this vase, please describe the unique patterns so I can make sure it goes back to the right person!
