Hi, I'm Priya Patel. I lost my blue US passport yesterday around 3pm near the CVS on North Main Street in Blacksburg, right in the heart of the New River Valley. The cover is dark blue with a gold federal eagle, and the spine is a bit creased from shuffling it in my bag. Inside the front cover there's a tiny sticker with my initials 'PP', and there's a faint coffee ring on the back cover. This passport means a lot to me—it's got travel plans and visa paperwork I really need for an upcoming trip. If you found it, text me or email me; I can meet near the Blacksburg Library or the CVS to pick it up.
Hey, I lost my grey North Face Borealis backpack yesterday around 3:15pm near the Blacksburg Library on East Main Street in the New River Valley. It's a medium-sized bag in fair condition, with a few scuffs on the bottom and the red zipper pulls showing a little wear. Inside I keep a 15-inch laptop sleeve, a teal notebook, and a small blue fox enamel pin on the strap. There's also a tiny blue patch with 'RVR' stitched inside the pocket. This bag was a gift from my sister, so it really means a lot to me and I’m hoping to get it back.
I was out for a run around 3pm yesterday and must have dropped my neon green CamelBak water bottle near the Duck Pond by Virginia Tech on Blacksburg's campus. It's a 28-ounce CamelBak Podium, translucent lime green with a black bite valve, and there's a small dent near the cap. On the side is a white sticker with my initials J.S. in black marker, plus a faint scuff along the lower edge from a few pavement scrapes. The bottle is pretty important to me; I use it every day for long runs and it has sentimental value because it was a gift from my former coach. If anyone picked it up, please reach out—I’d be super grateful to get it back.
I lost my black portable synthesizer, a Korg microKORG, yesterday around 3pm. It’s about the size of a small lunchbox, with a matte black finish and white keys. It’s a little scuffed with a few light scratches on the case. The top panel has a bright red sticker shaped like a heart, plus a tiny dent near the left edge and a removable blue silicone foot pad on the bottom. I last saw it in the parking lot behind the New River Valley Mall on Roanoke Street in Christiansburg. It’s sentimental to me because it was a gift from my late aunt and helped me write my first songs after she passed. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back; it’s crucial for me to keep practicing for an upcoming show.
I lost my blue Penguin Classics edition of Pride and Prejudice yesterday around 3pm. I was at the Starbucks on Main Street in Blacksburg, near the Lyric Theatre, and I must have left it on a chair after a quick coffee break. It’s a well-loved paperback with a creased spine, a red ribbon bookmark sticking out about two inches, and a faint coffee stain on the back cover. This book has sentimental value—it's a gift from my aunt who introduced me to classics. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back!
I found a silver bracelet yesterday around 3:45 pm in the parking lot behind the New River Valley Mall in Christiansburg. It’s a slender 7-inch sterling silver bracelet with a tiny ruby heart charm that catches the sun. The clasp has a delicate engraving 'A.R.' on it, which should help the owner identify it. There are a few light scratches along the edge from wear, but otherwise it’s in good shape. It looks like it could mean a lot to someone, and I’d love to get it back to its owner. If this sounds like yours, we can meet at the mall info desk or somewhere near the food court to hand it off safely.
I found a delicate gold-tone bracelet this afternoon around 2:40pm in the Market Square area on Main Street in Blacksburg. It’s about 7.5 inches long with a small turquoise heart charm and a tiny tag engraved with the initial 'A' on the clasp. It’s in good condition with just a little tarnish on the back from wear. I get that jewelry can be sentimental, so I’d really like to help reunite it with its owner. If this sounds like yours, share the initial on the clasp and a detail only you would know, and we can arrange a pickup near Market Square in the New River Valley.
I found a silver Apple MacBook Air (13-inch) this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the New River Valley Mall on Roanoke Street in Christiansburg. It’s in a black neoprene sleeve with a bright blue zipper. The lid has a small dent on the bottom-right corner and a round green pine-tree sticker near the corner. When I opened it, it booted to the login screen with a mountain wallpaper, so it seems to be in decent shape overall. The battery held a charge for a bit after I turned it on. If this is yours, email me at [email protected] with the sticker on the sleeve to confirm.
I found a cat this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the NRV Mall parking lot off US-460 in Christiansburg. It’s a friendly calico with white paws and a blue collar that has a small bell. It has a tiny notch in its left ear and a faint limp in the right hind leg. It seemed nervous at first but warmed up after I offered food and let it sniff my hand. I’m hoping to help this sweet girl get back to her owner.
I found a pair of VIP concert tickets this morning around 9:15am in the parking lot behind the Blacksburg Library on Main Street, right here in the New River Valley. They’re for the Night of Broadway show at the Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg this Friday. The tickets are glossy white with a bright blue border and a bold 'VIP' stamp; the barcode is clearly visible and one edge has a tiny crease. Seat info reads Row B, Seats 3 and 4. I imagine someone would be frantic to lose these, so I'm keeping them safe and hoping to reunite them with their owner quickly.
