Found a train near Union Station in New Haven
I found this today after leaving Union Station in New Haven around 4:15 p.m. I spotted a small metal toy train lying on the curb near the entrance and picked it up. It’s a blue-and-silver model with a tiny chimney and a short coal car, clearly not mine, so I left it by the information desk near the gate. It looked like something a kid would hug onto during a trip, and I can imagine the relief of the owner realizing it’s found. Lost Student ID near Yale campus, New Haven
I left my student ID on a bench by the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library around 9:30 pm last Thursday after a late study session. The card has my name and a Yale seal, and it’s essential for library access and campus buildings. I’m anxious about getting to class and continuing my work without it. I hope someone who found it kept it safe until I can retrieve it through the proper campus channels.

I lost my blue US passport yesterday around 3pm near the Crown Street Starbucks by Yale. It's in a navy blue leatherette cover with a gold crest, and there's a tiny coffee ring on the back cover plus a small sticker from a family trip to the coast on the inside flap. I realized it was missing after I got home from a lunch meeting on College Street and retraced my steps along Chapel and Crown. This passport is essential for my upcoming international travel and renewals, and it's the only form of ID I have at the moment. If you found it, I’d be grateful to arrange a safe drop-off near the Yale Library or meet somewhere convenient.
