Lost heirloom brooches near Ball State

I lost my grandmother's brooches on Saturday around 2:15 PM in Muncie, likely somewhere between Muncie and Anderson. I was walking from the campus bookstore toward the quad along University Avenue when a breeze tugged at my coat and I must have dropped them. The two brooches are small silver pins, one shaped like a flower with a tiny turquoise stone, the other a round pin with a faint engraving. They mean more to me than jewelry; they connect me to stories my grandmother told over Sunday gravy and family dinners. I combed the sidewalks near the campus, checked the library stairs, and retraced to the court square, but they didn’t turn up. I’m hoping a careful passerby found them and kept them safe.
