Found holiday decorations in Moses Lake, WA.
On Monday at 6:15 p.m., I was strolling along East 3rd Ave near the Moses Lake Safeway when I spotted a blue tote tucked behind a planter by the curb. Inside were strings of lights, garland, and a handful of ornaments—clearly someone’s holiday decorations left behind in the bustle of the season. I picked it up and brought it to the library's front desk so the owner could claim it. The sight of those bright pieces reminded me how this town comes alive with lights in winter, and I’m glad these decorations were found and kept safe until they’re reunited with their owner.
Blue insulin pen with pink heart sticker
I lost my blue insulin pen and its small grey protective case yesterday around 3pm near the Safeway on Pioneer Way in Moses Lake. It's a NovoPen-style pen, blue with a white cap, about 5 inches long, and it has a tiny pink heart sticker on the cap. The protective pouch is a soft grey zip case with a red fabric lining, and the cap sometimes sticks when it’s jostled in my bag. This pen is essential for my daily dosing and it has sentimental value because I carry it with me everywhere; I’d really appreciate getting it back as soon as possible.
Found a handmade pottery mug with blue glaze and heart design near a park bench in Moses Lake.
I found a beautiful handmade pottery mug while walking my dog at the park in Moses Lake. It has a lovely blue glaze with a heart design on one side and was just lying there next to the bench. It seems like it might be someone's favorite mug, as it looked well-used and loved. If you think it's yours, please describe it to me, and I’ll be happy to return it.
