Found: Green parakeet with pink leg band near Monroe Library
I found a small green parakeet this afternoon around 4pm in the parking lot behind the Monroe Public Library on Oak Street. It has a bright green body, yellow head, and a blue-tinted tail, and it wears a pink plastic leg band stamped with 'M-07'. The bird seemed healthy, chirpy, and surprisingly calm, hopping onto my finger for a moment before fluttering back to perch on a nearby sign. It looked clean and well-cared-for, not scared of people. I'm hoping to reunite it with its owner; if anyone recognizes this bird or knows who it belongs to, send me a note here and I'll hold onto it safely.
Gray tabby with blue collar missing
I lost my gray tabby yesterday around 3pm near the Monroe Community Center behind the fountain on Main Street. He’s a medium-sized indoor-outdoor guy, gray with a white blaze on his chest, and bright green eyes. He wears a blue collar with a tiny silver heart tag, and there’s a small scar behind his right ear from a playful scuffle last month. Lost small white hamster named Snowball near Monroe Park, Monroe, Michigan.
I lost my small white hamster, Snowball, while walking in Monroe Park yesterday afternoon. He somehow escaped from his cage and I believe he might be hiding in the bushes nearby. He's very friendly and likely scared, so if anyone sees him, please reach out! I really miss him.
