Red Lonely Planet pocket guide with palm-tree doodle
I lost my red Lonely Planet pocket guide to Central Europe yesterday around 3pm. It's a well-worn 6x9 inch paperback, with a creased spine, a coffee stain on the back, and a small palm-tree doodle in blue on the cover. Inside, my initials AO are written on the first page. I think I left it outside Paper Trail Books on Oak Street near the Meridian Transit Center. It holds sentimental value—it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’m really hoping to get it back.
Blue paperback mystery novel with dog-eared pages
Last night I realized I left my blue paperback mystery novel somewhere in Meridian. It's a 350-page first edition from Prestige Books, with a sun-faded cover and a coffee stain on the back. I think I had it yesterday around 7pm after leaving the Meridian Central Library on Oak Street and heading toward the riverfront park. It’s really special to me because I use it to unwind after shifts, and there are a couple of notes in my own handwriting near Chapter 5. If anyone found it, please let me know—it means a lot to get it back.
