Spalding orange basketball, scuffed, lost near Merced Mall
I lost my orange Spalding basketball yesterday around 3pm while shooting hoops behind the Merced Mall on G Street. It's a standard-size ball, pretty worn, with noticeable scuffs along the seams and a small tear near the bottom panel. I wrote my initials 'P.P.' on the inner surface with a Sharpie, and there's a faint blue tape strip I put on it to mark it during pickup games. This ball has sentimental value—it's my go-to practice ball and means a lot to me. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back so I can keep playing this week.
Blue plush dragon toy found near Target on G Street
I found a blue plush dragon toy this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Target on G Street in Merced. It’s about 12 inches tall, made of soft fleece, with a bright blue body, green belly, and rainbow wings, plus a red knit scarf. There’s a small white star patch on its left foot, and the squeaker still works when squeezed. It was tucked near the bike racks by the store entrance, a little dusty but otherwise in good shape. I know how much a toy can mean to a kid, so I’m hoping to help reunite it with its owner.
Neon green Nike soccer cleats, size 9.5
I was out for practice yesterday around 3pm when I realized my neon green Nike soccer cleats were missing. They’re size 9.5, neon green with a black swoosh and a white sole, and the left shoe has a tiny tear near the toe with the laces a bit frayed. I left them on a bench outside the gate by the Merced High School football field, near 7th Street and G Street, after drills. They’re pretty important to me—my only reliable pair for practice—and they’ve got sentimental value because my coach gave me a pep talk there last season. If you found them, please reach out; I’d be really grateful to get them back.
Found Wilson tennis racket with neon grip
I found a Wilson tennis racket lying near the bike racks outside the Merced Mall on G Street this afternoon around 2:30pm. It’s a mid-size racquet with a black frame and orange accents, and the grip is wrapped in a neon-yellow overgrip. There’s a small cat sticker on the throat and a tiny dent near the throat, but otherwise it’s in decent shape. If this belongs to someone, drop me a message on the app and we’ll work out a pickup—I'd really like to get it back to its owner.
Lost hand-painted ceramic vase with blue and white floral design near the bench by the small pond in Merced Park.
I lost a lovely hand-painted ceramic vase while walking my dog around Merced Park last Saturday. It has a blue and white floral design and stands about a foot tall. I can't remember exactly where I dropped it, but I think it might be near the bench by the small pond. It's a sentimental piece that was gifted to me, and I really hope someone finds it.
Lost hand-painted ceramic vase with floral patterns at Merced Farmers Market.
I lost a beautiful ceramic vase, hand-painted with floral patterns, at the Merced Farmers Market last Saturday. It was a cherished gift from my grandmother, and I'm heartbroken about its loss. If anyone has seen it or picked it up, I would greatly appreciate any information. It's about a foot tall, with a round base and an elegant neck.
Lost rare vintage 1950s Mickey Mantle baseball card in pristine condition near the fountain bench at a local park in Merced.
I lost a rare vintage baseball card from the 1950s features Mickey Mantle after visiting a local park in Merced. I last remember having it while sitting on a bench near the fountain. It’s in pristine condition and in a protective case, making it even more valuable. I've searched everywhere, and I’m hoping someone might have found it.
