I lost my gray Nike running shoes yesterday around 3pm outside the Mendocino Hotel on Main Street in Mendocino, Mendocino County. They're men's size 9, fairly well used but still in decent shape, gray with teal accents and a white sole. The left heel has a blue duct-tape patch and the right sole has a tiny red thread stitched into it—easy to spot if you're looking. They were a gift from my sister, so they mean a lot to me and I really need them back for daily runs. If you found them, please drop a note here or share any info you have; I can arrange a pickup.

It's a Brooks Brothers, men's size 40R, in good condition with just a couple of light wear marks and a charcoal silk pocket square tucked into the breast pocket. Inside the left pocket there's a brass monogrammed keychain with the initials 'A.J.' and a label that reads 'Brooks Brothers 40R.' It’s a thick hand-knit scarf, about 70 inches long, with a red tassel at one end and a small coffee stain near the edge. There’s white initials 'JP' stitched in the corner—easy to spot if you see it. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me, really hoping it turns up soon.

Inside the left pocket there's a small coffee stain that won't come out, and there's a tiny fray at the cuff from a hike last winter.
