Found: Sculptures near McAllen Civic Center
I was walking outside the McAllen Civic Center around 6:45 p.m. last Thursday when I found a tote behind a planter by the side entrance. Inside were three sculptures - two small metal figures and a larger carved piece, all dusty from a recent display. They looked like they belonged together, like a small collection someone had set down while rushing off. I picked them up and brought them to a bench to check for labels, hoping the owner would see this post. I will keep them safe here and hope the rightful owner sees this listing.
Lost sports equipment around McAllen Soccer Complex
At 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, I left my Equipment for Various Sports in a gray duffel at the McAllen Soccer Complex near the main gate after practice. The bag contains a football helmet, shin guards, a tennis racket, and a dusty pair of cleats. I wandered back through the bleachers and the field, but the bag was gone. I'm worried about not only the gear but the training schedules and the season's progress.
Found vintage baseball card collection, 1990s era
I found a vintage baseball card collection this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the CVS on 10th Street in McAllen. It’s tucked into a red 3-ring binder with a cracked clear sleeve, and a thin rubber band keeps a few loose cards in place. Inside are mostly 1988-1993 Topps and Donruss cards, including a near-complete 1989 Topps set and a couple of graded slabs. There’s a faded sticker on the binder that reads “MVP Club 1992” and a small note tucked inside that says “David L.” If you recognize this collection, send me a message with details only the owner would know.
Pink unicorn plush with rainbow mane found
I found this pink unicorn plush with a rainbow mane this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Walmart on McColl Rd in Edinburg. It's about 12 inches tall, super soft, with fur that's a little matted from a lot of hugs. The unicorn wears a tiny silver bell around its neck and has a small blue heart stitched on its belly. One ear shows a loose stitch, but overall it looks well-loved, like it was a favorite toy. It seems to belong to a kid, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner.
