Blue ceramic saucepan with wooden handle, sentimental gift
I lost a blue ceramic saucepan with a light wooden handle yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on State Street in Madison. It’s a 2.5-quart pan, glaze glossy blue with a small chip on the inside rim and a tiny hairline crack near the base of the handle; the bottom has the initials 'A.J.' etched in. It’s been in my family for decades and was a gift from my grandmother, so it means a lot to me. If you found it, I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back—it's not just cookware, it’s a memory.
Navy quilted duvet cover set with two shams, queen
I found a navy quilted duvet cover set with two matching shams, queen size, this afternoon around 2:45pm. It was folded on a bench outside the Capitol Square entrance on State Street, right by the fountain near the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. The fabric feels like soft cotton with a subtle grid of stitching, and there’s a hidden zipper closure. Inside, there’s a small tag with the initials 'M.L.' embroidered, which is a nice identifying feature. It’s in good condition overall, just a bit wrinkled from sitting in the sun. Bedding like this matters a lot to someone who sleeps with it every night—if this sounds like yours, tell me the size and the initials on the tag, and we can work out a pickup near the Capitol or at the Madison Lost & Found.
Black Breville espresso machine, compact, with manual
I lost my black Breville espresso machine yesterday around 3pm near Capitol Square on State Street, right outside Espresso Royale. It's a compact 15-inch tall coffee maker with a matte black finish and a brushed stainless portafilter. There’s a small dent on the top left corner and a scratch along the water reservoir. I always kept a blue microfiber cloth tucked in the drip tray, and the tamper has a bright red silicone handle. This machine was a gift from my sister and is pretty sentimental to me, and I'm really hoping someone who finds it understands how much I need it back.
Found vintage armchair with a tiny leg scratch by the curb on Maple Street in Madison.
I found a vintage armchair by the curb in front of a house on Maple Street in Madison. It looks like it might have been discarded during spring cleaning, and it's in really good shape, except for a tiny scratch on one of the legs. If you think this is yours, please describe the fabric color and any other details to confirm!
Found antique wooden chair with intricate carvings in downtown Madison park.
I found a lovely antique wooden chair while walking around the parks by downtown Madison. It looks very old and well-crafted, with intricate carvings on the backrest and a rich, dark finish. It was just sitting on a bench, and I couldn't tell if it was someone's or left behind, but I couldn't bear to leave it. If you think it belongs to you, please reach out!
Lost large blue patterned quilt left behind at a park in Madison.
I was enjoying a picnic at a park in Madison and accidentally left behind my favorite blue quilt. It's quite large and super soft with a nice patterned design. If someone finds it, I would really appreciate having it back as it has sentimental value for me.
