Black iPad Pro 12.9-inch in red folio case
Found a black iPad Pro 12.9-inch this afternoon around 2:15 pm behind the Target at Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington Station, Long Island. It's in a bright red folio case with a USB-C charging cable still attached. The back has a tiny dent near the bottom edge, and someone wrote 'A.R.' etched near the Apple logo. The screen is intact but the corner shows a hairline crack when I checked it. It powered on to the home screen, so it seems functional. I figure someone must be missing it after shopping in the area - Long Island folks are quick to help a neighbor. If you think this is yours, reach out at [email protected].
Blue paperback mystery with floral bookmark
I lost my blue paperback mystery novel yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in Huntington Village, Long Island. It's a standard mass-market paperback, about 320 pages, with a purple floral bookmark peeking out and a coffee stain on the back cover. Inside, there's a blue ink note on the first page: 'For Sarah, stay curious.' It has sentimental value because it's the book a friend lent me during a rough time last year, and I really need it back. I lost my favorite copy of 'The Great Gatsby' while sitting on the beach at Long Island last Saturday. It's hardcover with a blue and gold cover design. I had it with me when I went for a stroll, and I think I might have left it on the sand. It's pretty worn, but it has a sentimental value to me. Please let me know if you've found it!
