Emerald parakeet with orange beak and blue tail
I lost my emerald-green parakeet yesterday around 4pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in Lewiston, by the riverfront. He’s a small budgie, about 6 inches from beak to tail, with a bright orange beak, yellow chest patch, and a blue-tinted tail. He has a blue leg band on his left leg and a tiny white mark on his right wing, which are the best identifying details. I named him Pico, and he’s usually very chatty and responds to his whistle. This bird was a gift from my sister and holds a lot of sentimental value—I’m really worried I won’t see him again. If anyone found him, please message me with any information; I’d be forever grateful.
Blue-yellow cockatiel with orange cheeks
I found a blue-yellow cockatiel this afternoon around 4:15pm in Clarkston, near the Walmart parking lot on 13th Street. It was pacing along the curb, fluffed up from the breeze, with bright orange cheek patches and a soft gray beak. There’s a blue leg band with the letters 'AL' and a small white tail tip that makes it stand out. The bird seemed friendly, chirping at me when I approached, and it hopped onto my finger for a moment before I gave it a safe perch on a bench. If this might be your bird, please reach out — I’d love to help reunite you. I can meet you around the Walmart lot or in downtown Clarkston this evening.
