Blue hardcover Penguin Classics edition, worn spine
I lost my blue hardcover Penguin Classics edition of a novel yesterday around 3pm. I had it with me while browsing the poetry shelf at Moravian Book Shop on Main Street in Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, near the café. The book is in decent shape, with gold lettering on the spine and a faint coffee ring on the back cover; there’s a green bookmark with a pressed fern sticking out from page 112. It really matters to me because it was a gift from my aunt, and I’d be incredibly grateful to have it returned.

I found a well-loved Penguin Classics paperback this afternoon around 3:15 pm outside the Allentown Public Library courtyard on N 7th Street. The book is a green-spined edition of Pride and Prejudice, with dog-eared corners and a small blue lighthouse sticker on the back cover. A few pages have blue highlights and a couple of quotes underlined in blue ink in the margins. It seems like someone cared for it and it's got that 'spent a lot of time with this one' feel. It means a lot to me—it's the last gift from my late uncle who loved sci-fi, and I promised him I'd reread it this year. I had tucked it into my tote while grabbing a quick coffee at the cafe, then stepped out to the bus stop on 5th Street and must have set it down there. I found a red paperback mystery with a blue bookmark this afternoon, around 3:15pm, outside the Allentown Central Library on Hamilton Street in Lehigh Valley. The cover is glossy red, the book is about 320 pages, and there's a light crease along the spine from wear. On the back cover is a small green sticker that reads 'Maia,' and a cat-shaped bookmark is tucked between pages near chapter 12. The book looks well-loved but in good reading condition. If you recognize it, I’d be happy to reunite it with the owner.
