While leaving the bus station area and heading toward the library, I spotted a jumble of chargers under a bench outside Leeds City Station around 4:50 pm today. It looked like a small lifeline of a commute—cables coiled around a black wall plug, a blue USB-C cable, and a compact red power bank, all tangled together with a frayed charging cord. There was no name tag or label I could see. I felt a small rush of responsibility and relief—like I might be helping someone else avoid a scramble at the start of their evening. They’re safely with me for now, waiting to be reunited with their owner.
