I found this bag tucked behind the West Entrance of Memorial Stadium after the Friday night game, around 6:15 p.m. It’s packed with gear for multiple sports—a soccer ball, a baseball glove, a tennis racket, and shin guards—stuff that clearly belongs to an active player. The bag was left in a way that suggested someone must have forgotten it after practice. I’m posting it here in case the owner recognizes it and claims it.

On Saturday at 3:10 PM, I realized my set of four small paintings vanished from my tote while I was walking along Massachusetts Street toward the Campanile on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence. I had paused to sketch the sunset by the Kansas River earlier in the afternoon, and I must have left them on a bench outside the Campanile steps. The paintings are framed in pale pine, two show prairie grasses, one a river scene, and the fourth a hillside town.
