Framed gold-leaf landscape painting
I lost my framed gold-leaf landscape painting yesterday around 3pm. It's a 16x20 inch acrylic piece by a local artist, titled 'Spring on River Street', matted in white with a thin black border and housed in a gold-leaf frame. The back has a tiny sticker from the Lansing Arts Collective and a faint dent on the top-left corner. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me. I had set it down outside the Lansing City Market on East Kalamazoo Street while I grabbed a quick lunch, and when I came back it was gone. If anyone found it, please reach out—I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Red binder of vintage Topps baseball cards
I lost my red 3-ring binder of vintage Topps baseball cards yesterday around 3pm near the Lansing City Market on Capitol Ave. It's a 9x11 inch binder with clear plastic sleeves, filled with about 80 cards from the late 80s and early 90s. Inside there's a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card on the top sleeve and a yellow Post-it note on the inside cover with 'M. Delgado' written in blue ink. The binder is a bit worn at the top-left corner and the spine is slightly scuffed. This collection was a gift from my uncle and means a lot to me; I’d really appreciate getting it back if anyone finds it.
Framed landscape painting, black frame
I found a framed landscape painting this afternoon around 2:15pm near the Lansing City Market on East Kalamazoo Street. It’s a 16x20 inch oil painting in a glossy black wooden frame with a tiny chip along the bottom edge. The scene shows green hills, a blue sky, and a small red-roofed cottage tucked in a corner. On the back there’s a handwritten tag with the initials 'M.R.' and a faint coffee ring, which are 1-2 clues to identify it. If you think it’s yours, email me at [email protected] and we’ll figure out next steps at the City Market lost-and-found desk.
Found vintage vinyl records collection in a tote
I found a small collection of vintage vinyl records this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Lansing Public Library on Capitol Ave. It came in a black leather tote with a zipper, and several sleeves have bold retro artwork. There are about 10 records, mostly rock and soul from the 60s-70s; a couple are still sealed, others have light scuffs. One sleeve has a handwritten label 'MR-78' and a small green cat sticker on the corner, which is a clear identifying feature. The tote is in good shape overall, and it feels like a meaningful part of someone’s collection. If you're the owner, message me here with the note on MR-78 so I can verify and get this back to you.
Lost bright yellow toy dump truck with scratches near Lansing library park.
I lost my son’s favorite toy dump truck while we were playing at the park near the Lansing library. It’s bright yellow and has a few scratches on it, but he loves it dearly. If anyone finds it, please reach out; he’s been pretty upset about it being gone!
