Blue US passport lost near Lake Charles Civic Center
I lost my blue US passport yesterday around 4pm near the Lake Charles Civic Center on Broad Street, by the amphitheater and the food trucks. It's the standard navy-blue cover with the gold seal, a little worn at the corners from travel. Inside there’s a passport photo of me in a navy jacket, and I think the visa pages are still intact. The back cover has a coffee ring impression and a tiny tear in the corner, plus I left a small maple-leaf sticker on the inner page for luck. I found an ID card this afternoon around 2:30pm in the parking lot behind Target on West Prien Lake Road, near the Prien Lake Mall entrance. It's a blue-and-white employee ID badge in a clear plastic sleeve, with a photo of a person in a navy polo and a small holographic seal that shifts green to gold. The card is laminated and has a bright coffee-stain smudge in the lower-right corner and a blue lanyard with a tiny silver key ring. I lost my two tickets to the Lake Charles music festival at the local coffee shop on Main Street. I remember setting them down on the counter while I was digging through my bag for my wallet. I left in such a rush that I didn’t realize they were gone until I got home. They are both electronic tickets and were sent to my email, which may provide the ticket numbers.
