I lost my navy blue US passport yesterday around 3pm near the Mall of Acadiana on Johnston Street in Lafayette. It's in a standard navy cover with gold lettering; the corners are a bit frayed and there's a small coffee stain on the back. Inside, a tiny receipt from a coffee shop is tucked in the pocket. This passport is important for an upcoming trip and holds sentimental value—it's tied to a family vacation last year. I’d really appreciate getting it back.
