Found: Rabbits in Ottawa, La Salle Co
I found two rabbits wandering near Riverside Park in Ottawa around 3:40 p.m. today. They looked cautious yet curious, noses twitching and ears perked at every buzzing leaf. One is white with brown ears; the other is gray with a small blue collar that may have fallen off. They seemed hungry and a bit frightened, sticking close to the bench by the flower beds until I gently coaxed them into a crate I carry for stray animals. I brought them to safety in my car and kept close watch. If the owner sees this, please reach out through the site so we can reunite them.
Terrariums lost in La Salle Co, IL.
I was cleaning the plants at my sister’s house in Ottawa when I set two glass terrariums on a shelf outside the back door around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. One holds a fern and moss with a blue glass pebble, the other a tiny succulent with a ribbed lid. I’ve walked every block around La Salle Street looking for them and asked a few neighbors, but no sightings yet. I miss the little ecosystems I built and just want them back where they belong.

I lost my tan Labrador mix yesterday around 3pm near the Riverside Park entrance at Main Street and Oak Avenue in La Salle Co. He is about 60 pounds, with a white chest patch and a small scar on his right ear, and he is wearing a bright blue collar with a bone-shaped tag that reads 'Milo'. Milo is incredibly friendly, and he is never far from my side; he is a gift to me since we adopted him. This loss hits hard; he has sentimental value and I really need him back. I found a beautiful blue parakeet fluttering around my backyard in La Salle Co. It seemed a bit lost and frightened, but after giving it some seeds, it calmed down.
