Red paperback The Alchemist with yellow bookmark
Lost my red paperback copy of The Alchemist yesterday around 3pm near the La Salle Co Library on Main Street in downtown La Salle. It's a Penguin Classics edition from 2002, with a bright yellow bookmark sticking out from chapter 7. The cover is creased and there's a faint coffee stain on the back, plus a small blue doodle of a sun on the inside cover. It has real sentimental value—it's the first 'grown-up' book I bought after starting my new job, and I've reread it many times. If anyone found it, please reach out; I really need it back.

I lost my blue paperback novel 'The Edge of Dawn' yesterday around 3pm near the La Salle County Library on Main Street, just outside the cafe entrance. It's a softcover with a creased spine, a green ribbon bookmark, and a small coffee ring on the back cover. There's a handwritten note inside the front cover that reads 'hold fast' in black ink.
