They’re a little scuffed and the laces are tangled as if someone kicked them off in a hurry. I didn’t see anyone looking for them, so I picked them up and brought them here, hoping the owner will recognize them. Found two guitars near the Kokomo Courthouse.

While walking home from the downtown market around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, I spotted two guitars lying by the Kokomo Courthouse steps on Market Street. One is a sunburst acoustic with a slightly worn pickguard, the other a black electric with a chipped edge near the strap button. They looked like someone had set them down and forgotten them, so I picked them up and brought them here, hoping the owner sees this. I’m keeping them safe for now and would be relieved to see them go home to a musician who loves them as much as I do.

Found Holiday Decorations near courthouse, Kokomo

While walking my dog near the Howard County Courthouse in downtown Kokomo around 9:15 this morning, I found a box of holiday decorations tucked behind a bench by the planter. The bundle includes strings of twinkling lights, a garland, and a ceramic angel with gold trim. It hit me how special these must be to someone who was getting ready to decorate for the season, and I felt a little tug of sympathy for the unknown owner. I found two rabbits wandering behind the Kokomo Public Library's rear lot around 11:20 pm yesterday. They looked curious and unharmed—one white with a black tail and the other gray with big ears. It’s a medium size with a quick-release buckle and a reflective strip along the chest, plus a small bone-shaped tag whose phone number is faint but readable up close. The harness looks clean and recently worn, not torn, so I figured it belongs to someone in Kokomo who’s probably frantically searching. I found a grey tabby this morning around 9:15am in the parking lot behind the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library on West Superior Street. It's a medium-sized, short-haired cat wearing a bright blue collar with a small bell that jingles as he moves. He has a distinct white chest patch shaped like a heart and a tiny scar above his left eye. He seemed calm and friendly, but I didn't want to stress him out, so I kept him close until he followed me to the edge of the lot. No microchip tag is visible, so I'm hoping to reunite him with his owner—if this is your cat, please reach out.
