lost drums after gig at Foster Park, Kokomo
i was packing up after a small neighborhood gig when the last note faded and the sun sank behind the trees. at about 6:45 p.m. on friday, i realized my drum kit had vanished from the stage area near Foster Park’s band shell in Kokomo, Indiana. it’s a three-piece set with a cherry-red sparkle finish, chrome hardware, and a lightning-bolt sticker on the bass drum. i’d just finished the final chorus and locked the drum case, thinking i had everything. i feel a mix of relief and worry—this kit isn’t just gear to me, it’s years of practice and memories. if someone found it, please message me through the site so i can come pick it up.
Found two guitars near the Kokomo Courthouse.
While walking home from the downtown market around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, I spotted two guitars lying by the Kokomo Courthouse steps on Market Street. One is a sunburst acoustic with a slightly worn pickguard, the other a black electric with a chipped edge near the strap button. They looked like someone had set them down and forgotten them, so I picked them up and brought them here, hoping the owner sees this. I’m keeping them safe for now and would be relieved to see them go home to a musician who loves them as much as I do.

I was practicing near the Kokomo Courthouse Square yesterday around 3pm when I must have set my blue Korg metronome and a small black guitar tuner down in a blue zippered pouch. The metronome is blue plastic with a white face and a tiny dent on the base; the tuner is a tiny black device with a green LCD. They were tucked inside a soft blue fabric case with a guitar-pick shaped zipper pull and a white sticker that reads 'P.N.' on the outside. This stuff is essential for my weekly practice, and it’s sentimental—my late uncle gave me the metronome. If anyone found them, I’d really appreciate being reconnected with them.
