I found a gray cockatiel this afternoon around 3:30pm in downtown Knoxville, perched on a bench near Market Square on Gay Street. It has a bright yellow crest and orange cheek patches, and there's a silver leg band with the number 042. The bird seemed relatively calm but a bit wary of people, and it hopped onto my finger and chirped softly when I held it. If this is your bird, I’d love to help you get it back—I can meet near Market Square or at the Knoxville Visitor Center on Clinch Avenue to hand it over.
