Lost Document Holders near Market Square, Knoxville
On Monday at 4:50 PM, I realized my Document Holders were missing after I stepped out from Market Square and checked my bag for the papers I’d meant to review before heading home. They were tucked in the outer zipper pocket of my black tote, the one with a small red thread I stitched years ago. Inside the holders were a few travel papers and a photo ID; I rely on them daily, and losing them threw off my entire evening routine. I’ve retraced my steps along the brick path around the square and paused near the old City County Building, hoping a passerby who picked them up saw the distinctive stitching and did the right thing.

Found: blue sheets on Knoxville doorstep
I was checking the mail at 11:30 a.m. on a sunny Saturday when I spotted a bundle of light-blue sheets left on the landing outside my apartment on the 400 block of West Church Avenue, just a few steps from Market Square in Knoxville. They were neatly folded in a slightly crumpled plastic bag, clean, with a small label tucked in the corner that read 'queen.' I asked a couple of neighbors, but no one claimed them, and there was no note anywhere nearby. I brought them inside to keep them dry and safe while I tried to figure out where they came from. If these belong to you, I hope they find their owner through the site.
Lost equipment for various sports in Knoxville
I lost equipment for various sports around 10:45 AM today near Market Square in Knoxville, not far from the Sunsphere. It’s a black and blue duffel bag packed with shin guards, a basketball, a tennis racket, and a water bottle—the kind of stuff that teams rely on for Saturday practice. It’s more than gear for me; it’s for my kid’s weekend games, and I’m really hoping it turns up. Please keep an eye out for a bag like this and check the listing here if anything matches.
FOUND Action Figures in Knoxville, TN
I found a small pile of action figures around 2:45 p.m. today, lying by the fountain near the Sunsphere in Market Square. It’s a mixed lot—Captain America, Spider-Man, and a few older figures with chipped paint. They look well-loved, and I couldn’t just walk away, so I kept them safe nearby by Market Square and hoped the owner would recognize them soon.

Found paintings near Market Square, Knoxville.
I found these paintings lying together on the curb by Market Square around 8:20 p.m. last Friday. One frame shows a stormy mountainscape, the other a sunlit street scene, both bold and a touch dusty from the rain. I know art is personal, and I can only imagine how anxious the owner must feel right now. They feel safer in my care for the moment, and I hope this helps the rightful owner get them back.
Lost flutes near Market Square, Knoxville
I lost my flutes after a late rehearsal outside the Tennessee Theatre on Gay Street near Market Square, around 9:15 PM last Friday. The two wooden flutes were in a light-blue case and meant everything to me as I prepare for a recital. I retraced my steps along the brick sidewalks, but they were nowhere to be found. If someone happened to pick them up, I’d be forever grateful and hopeful they’ll find their way back to me.
LOST CDs near Market Square, Knoxville
I was at Market Square in Knoxville around 6:45 p.m. last Friday, after leaving a coffee shop, when I realized my CDs were missing from a black tote I’d left on a chair near the Market Square fountain. The tote held a mix of rock and classical discs, all in slim cases with a few cover sleeves showing. There isn’t much else to go on, but these CDs are special to me, and I’m hoping a good Samaritan turned them in here. If this sounds like yours, please check the listing on the site.
FOUND: Student ID on UT campus
I was heading back to the University of Tennessee campus library around 3:45 PM yesterday when I spotted a student ID lying on the bench near Market Square. The name on the card isn’t mine, and the photo is clear, so I figured the owner would want it back. I picked it up and brought it to the campus security desk so it can be claimed by the rightful student through the proper channels. It felt good to do the right thing, especially knowing how important that card can be for a student’s day-to-day life.
Found travel bags near Market Square, Knoxville
FOUND: I found a set of travel bags outside a cafe near Market Square in downtown Knoxville around 7:15 p.m. last Friday. The rolling navy suitcase and a smaller black carry-on were left by the curb, untouched and heavy with clothes. I checked for a name tag, but nothing obvious showed up, so I moved them to a bench and kept an eye on them until the crowd thinned. I can imagine the relief of the person who realized they were missing, and I’d love to see them reunited with their owner soon.

I lost my coin collection downtown Knoxville
Last Friday at 6:20 p.m., I was sitting on a bench in Market Square when I realized my coin collection wasn't in my pocket anymore. I had been flipping through a small album, and the breeze probably knocked the pouch loose. These coins are a family heirloom from my grandfather, and they carry a lot of memories. If anyone found them, I’d be grateful to have them back.
lost postcards from Knoxville trip, please help.
On Tuesday around 3:40 p.m., I was perched by the Market Square fountain in Knoxville, flipping through a small stack of postcards from our road trip. A gust of wind knocked my tote from my shoulder, and when I looked up the postcards were gone. They’re mostly scenic snaps and little notes from friends, with one faded stamp that still makes me smile. Most importantly, there’s a clipped photo of my grandmother tucked between the pages. I’ve walked the square twice, checked the benches, and asked a few locals, but no sign yet. If you found them, please tell the site so I can start healing a little.
