I lost my gray Korg Volca Sample, a pocket-size electronic instrument, yesterday around 3pm near the Truman State University Student Union on Normal Ave in Kirksville. It's a compact black-gray box about the size of a paperback, with a bright red heart sticker on the top panel and a small dent on the bottom edge; there’s also a white label on the back with my initials 'PP' written in Sharpie. I lost my red Korg clip-on guitar tuner yesterday around 2:30pm near the Student Union on Truman State University's campus here in Kirksville. It's a compact tuner, about the size of a deck of cards, with a shiny red plastic body and a slightly worn silver clip. On the back I stuck a tiny white sticker with a music-note design, which is still visible if you look closely. The unit works fine aside from a small scratch on the clip from a spill, and it's really sentimental to me—it's my go-to for practice between sets, and I'm posting this under Miscellaneous Musical Items. If someone found it around the campus bookstore on Normal Avenue or near the Student Union steps, please reach out, I really need it back.
Silver flute found near Kirksville Public Library
I found a silver Yamaha flute this afternoon around 3:15 pm outside the Kirksville Public Library on Main Street. The instrument is in a black hard case with a noticeable dent on the lip plate and a small blue sticker with the initials KP on the zipper pull. The flute itself has light tarnish along the keys but still sounds nice when I test-played a quick scale near the bike racks by the entrance. I lost my beloved vintage bongo drum while walking to my friend's house near the university in Kirksville. It’s in good condition with a few scratches that show its age but still sounds amazing. I last remember placing it next to my backpack on a bench outside a coffee shop where I stopped to grab a drink. I'm really hoping someone found it and can return it to me.
