Today at 9:12 AM, I found a small stack of sheet music on the sidewalk outside the Fort Hood Main Gate in Killeen, Texas. The pages look like a high school band collection, with a pencil note on the top page reading 'To: Band Varsity' and a few rehearsal marks penciled in. It appears to be a mix of easy melodies and a couple of more challenging pieces, all in decent shape aside from a few creases. I can imagine the owner rushing to a rehearsal and leaving it behind by accident, and I’d want someone to return it to them as quickly as possible. I lost my orange-and-black microKORG synthesizer yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart on Fort Hood Street in Killeen. It's a 37-key synth in good condition, with a small dent on the bottom-right corner and a purple octopus sticker on the back panel. There's also a blue Velcro strap looped through the handle that I always use to carry it. I rely on it for songwriting and gigs, and it has sentimental value—really hoping to get it back. I lost my black 61-key MIDI keyboard controller yesterday around 7:15pm in the parking lot behind the Killeen Mall on Central Texas Expressway. It’s a Novation Launchkey 61 in solid black with a faint scratch along the top edge and a bright red circular sticker with a lightning bolt on the back. The instrument is otherwise in good condition, and I usually keep the USB-C cable attached when I transport it. It matters a lot to me—it's how I practice for weekend gigs and it has sentimental value because it was a gift from my music mentor. Found a sunburst Yamaha acoustic guitar in a black padded gig bag with a red strap, lying on the ground near the Fort Hood PX entrance this afternoon around 1:45pm. The guitar has a few scratches along the lower bout, and the headstock Yamaha logo is a bit worn, but the instrument still looks solid with bright, ringing strings. There's a blue guitar pick tucked into the strings and a palm-tree sticker on the case, which are easy identifying marks. The case itself has a small zipper scuff and a faint coffee stain on the padding, but overall it's clearly been cared for. If it's yours, I'm happy to get it back to you.
Red violin in black case with bow near Fort Hood
I lost my red violin in a black hard case with a bow yesterday around 3pm outside the Fort Hood PX parking lot. It’s a 3/4 size violin, brand Yamaha, with a small dent on the lid near the upper bout and a green sticker with the initials PP on the outside. The bow has a slightly frayed horsehair and the rosin box is tucked under the strap. It means a lot to me because I play in the community orchestra and it was a gift from my grandmother. I’m really hoping someone found it and can return it; I’d be forever grateful.
