I lost my orange-tan bearded dragon yesterday around 4pm near the QuikTrip on 7th Street in Joplin. He’s about 12 inches from nose to tail, with dark orange banding along his back and a pale belly. A small blue dot sits near his left eye, and there’s a tiny sun-shaped scar at the base of his tail. He’s usually calm, eats greens and crickets, and this little guy is a gift for my daughter, so it really means a lot to get him back. She wears a pink collar with a small silver bell that jingles when she walks. I adopted her a year ago and she's been my quiet companion; this is really hard and I'm worried sick about her. I lost my golden-brown Syrian hamster yesterday around 3pm near the Joplin Public Library on Main Street. It's a tiny guy, about the size of a ping-pong ball, with fluffy golden fur, a white belly, and a small white patch on his chest. He has a slightly lighter left ear and a tiny scar on his right hind paw from a little tumble last week. He was in a blue travel cage, but he slipped out while I was packing up a snack for our walk. It was perched on a bike rack outside the southeast entrance and let me approach, about robin-sized with glossy feathers and a tiny crack in the left wing. It also wears a red leg band with the inscription R-12. I'm keeping it safe in a travel cage until I can reunite it with its owner. Yesterday evening while walking my dog at Grand Falls Park in Joplin, I noticed a small green tree frog hopping around near the edge of the water.
