Gold alto saxophone with engraved initials on bell
I lost my gold alto saxophone yesterday around 3pm near the Joplin Public Library on Main Street. It's a Yamaha student model, lacquer shiny gold, about 28 inches tall, with a black mouthpiece and a red velvet interior case. There's a small dent near the bell and a tiny scratch along the upper bell. The neck has a fabric wrap from a recital last semester. The sax belonged to me since college, and it has sentimental value because it was my late grandmother's instrument passed down to me for my first recital, and I really need it back for upcoming auditions. It has initials 'M.J.' engraved on the bell, which should help identify me. If you found it, drop me a note here and we can arrange pickup.
Black Seiko metronome with red pendulum
Found a small black Seiko metronome with a bright red pendulum weight. I spotted it this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Joplin Public Library on Main Street, near the bike racks. It’s got a blue guitar sticker on the front and the bottom is etched with the initials 'J.R.' in silver. The case is a bit scuffed but it still ticks reliably when tested. If you’re the owner, I can meet you at the library info desk to return it, or wherever you prefer around downtown.
Found red guitar capo with sun sticker
I found a bright red guitar capo this afternoon around 3:15 pm, tucked behind the bench outside the Joplin Public Library on Main Street. It's a lightweight plastic capo with a snug black rubber grip and a slightly squeaky hinge. There's a white sun-shaped sticker on the top edge and a small dent on the metal bar from a bump, easy to spot. I know how much a guitarist relies on their gear, so I'm hoping the owner sees this and can pick it up from me near the library. If you're missing a red capo with a sun sticker, drop me a line and we'll figure out a time to meet.
