It's about 5x7 inches, with a brass compass charm hanging from the spine and a blue ribbon bookmark sticking out. The cover is etched with the initials 'L.M.' and there’s a pressed fern tucked inside between the pages. I lost my bright red beach umbrella on Saturday while enjoying a picnic at the Arcata Marsh in Humboldt County. I set it down for a moment and must have forgotten it when we left the area.
