Lost synthesizers in Beacon, Hudson Valley
Last Saturday around 9:15 p.m., I was wrapping up a jam session at a friend's studio on Main Street in Beacon when I realized my synthesizers weren’t there anymore. I had them set on a chair by the window facing the Walkway Over the Hudson. They’re in a black flight case with a gray modular and a blue patch cable snaking out; one sticker reads Bear Mountain if you know it. The room smelled like solder and coffee, the kind of night that makes you chase a sound you can’t bear to lose. I have a gig next weekend and I need those synths back.
