Found: Power Tools near Walkway Over the Hudson
I found a heavy toolbox wedged behind a bench near the Walkway Over the Hudson around 7:15 p.m. Friday, after coming from the Cold Spring train station. The cordless drill and several bits looked used but in good shape, the case dusty with shop grime. I figured someone must be missing these after a long day of work, and relief washed over me at the thought of reuniting them with their owner. I turned the toolbox in at the village hall and snapped a quick note for this post, hoping the rightful owner will recognize their gear.
Lost: My radios
On Friday around 2:30 PM at the Walkway Over the Hudson in Highland, I must have set my bag down for a moment and the radios disappeared. The two radios, a compact handheld unit and a vintage silver model, were tucked in a worn leather case that belonged to my grandfather. They’re not just gadgets to me; they carry memories of family projects and a long-ago road trip. I’ve retraced the path along the river and asked a few walkers if they saw anything, hoping someone kept them safe until I could get them back.
Lost blue ceramic mixing bowl with scratches, sentimental gift from grandmother, left in Hudson Valley.
I accidentally left my blue ceramic mixing bowl while visiting a friend's house in Hudson Valley last weekend. It's a bit scratched but holds sentimental value as it was a gift from my grandmother. If anyone found a similar bowl, please reach out!
