Lost Breeds near Harbour Town, Hilton Head
I was tidying up my Hilton Head condo on Friday at 7:45 p.m., the sun sinking behind the Harbour Town Lighthouse. I had set my Breeds on the coffee table while I fetched a jacket from the sofa. A breeze sneaked in through the door and, in a moment, it vanished. I searched the living room, checked behind the couch, and even peered out on the balcony where the palms rustle. It’s lost, and that realization hits me hard. If someone has seen it, I’d be grateful to have it back.

I was at Coligny Beach Park around 7:20 p.m. yesterday, Hilton Head Island, when I realized my little album titled Breeds wasn't in my bag. It's a slim, weathered leather-bound thing with dog-breed photos tucked between the pages and a bright red ribbon bookmark. I carry it everywhere for inspiration, and losing it feels like losing a piece of home. I left it on a bench near the Coligny Plaza ice cream stand after a sunset walk, and the idea that someone might have picked it up gives me a glimmer of hope.

I woke up this morning worried about my two dogs. I last saw their leashes at Coligny Beach Park around 6:15 p.m. on Friday, near the boardwalk by the tidal pools. Found a little brown hamster near the beach access on Hilton Head.
I found a little brown hamster running around near the beach access on Hilton Head yesterday. It seemed a bit scared but very friendly. I couldn't see any collar or tags on it, so I decided to take it home for now. I really hope to find its owner soon, as I know how much pets mean to families.
