Red Santa hat with seashell patch near Waikiki
I found a red Santa hat this afternoon around 2:15 pm on Waikiki Beach, near the Duke Kahanamoku statue along Kalakaua Ave. It's a bright fleece hat with fluffy white trim and a little seashell patch sewn near the brim; size medium with an adjustable inner band. The hat is in decent shape, just a bit sandy after a quick stroll by the water. It's clearly a seasonal item, probably from a holiday photo or party, and it feels sentimental—I'd love to help reunite it with its owner if you recognize it from your Hawaii Christmas celebration. If you know who it belongs to, describe the seashell patch or where you last wore it and I'll help get it back.
Red-green LED Christmas lei
I found a red-green LED Christmas lei this afternoon around 3:15pm, tangled in a palm tree near the Duke Kahanamoku statue on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. It's about 3 feet long, with silky red and green petals, and it has tiny pineapple-shaped charms plus a small battery pack that blinks. A few threads are a bit frayed and the fabric shows light wear, but it's clearly handmade and festive. This seasonal lei seems like something someone wore for a holiday photo; I'd really like to help reunite it with its owner.
