Last Friday around 7:30 PM, I lost my Holiday Decorations from the front porch of my apartment in Norfolk's Ghent neighborhood. The box held a string of multicolored lights, a wreath with pine needles, and several glass ornaments I've collected over the years. I had strung them along the railing near the corner of Saint Paul Street and 21st Street, where I like to stand and watch the sunset. This season feels a little dim without their sparkle, and I miss the way they warmed our living room during last year's holiday gatherings.
