Blue budgie with white chest missing near downtown Grand Rapids
Description
I lost my blue budgie with a white chest this afternoon around 3:45pm near Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. It's a small parakeet, about 5 inches tall, with a cobalt blue body, white chest, and faint black wing stripes. It also has a yellow plastic leg band with the code GR427 and one tail feather that’s a bit longer than the rest. It’s skittish and likely perched somewhere along the riverfront—maybe in trees by the Grand River or on light poles near the Amway building. This bird is part of the family; it meant a lot to me, and I’d be grateful for any help bringing it home.
