I'm Priya Patel, and I lost my gray tabby yesterday around 6pm near John Ball Zoo on Fulton Street in Grand Rapids. He's a short-haired cat, about 10 pounds, with a gray tabby coat and white paws, and he wears a slim silver collar with a tiny bell. He has a small notch in his left ear and a crescent-shaped scar on his right flank. He's shy and will bolt if startled, but he's usually curious when I call his name. I lost my large black Samsonite suitcase yesterday around 6pm near the Amway Grand Plaza on Monroe Center Street in downtown Grand Rapids. It's a 26-inch hard-shell with scuff marks along the bottom and a dent on the front-right corner. Inside, it's charcoal-gray with a blue fabric tie-down strap and a red TSA-approved lock on the zippers. It feels sentimental because it was a gift from my aunt and holds a few personal items I can't replace. If anyone found it, please reach out — I really need it back.
Lost keychain with Audi fob
I lost my sunburst Fender Stratocaster electric guitar yesterday around 3pm. I had just finished a quick pedal test outside Galaxy Guitar Shop on Wealthy Street SE in Grand Rapids when I must have left it on the sidewalk as the rain started. It’s a sunburst finish, alder body with a white pickguard and a rosewood fretboard; the guitar is otherwise in good playing condition with a few cosmetic scratches along the lower bout. There’s a small dent on the back near the strap button, and a faded Michigan outline sticker on the back near the neck plate. It’s attached to a black leather strap with white stitching, and the case has a red interior. This guitar means a lot to me—it was a gift from my mentor and I really need it back.
I lost my blue LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set yesterday around 3pm near Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. It's a medium-sized blue-and-white box that shows a red helicopter on the front and a small yellow car in the corner. The box is a little scuffed and the instruction booklet inside is creased, with a couple of bricks rattling around loosely. This set is well-loved and has sentimental value—my nephew and I spent the afternoon building it last weekend, and it’s his favorite toy. If anyone found it, please let me know; I’d really appreciate getting it back so he can finish the model before his next project night in the living room.
I found a juvenile leopard gecko this afternoon around 3:15pm wandering near the back parking lot of the Meijer on 28th Street SE in Grand Rapids. It was in a small plastic tote with a taped lid, beside a glass terrarium with a heat lamp, a fake plant, and reptile substrate. The gecko is vivid orange with white speckles and a pale cream belly, about 4 inches long including the tail. It looked healthy but a little dusty from being outside. There’s a tiny chipped scale on the tip of its left hind toe and a small blue spot under its chin that helps identify it. It seemed curious and not panicked. I’m keeping it safe for now, hoping to help reunite it with its owner. If you recognize this reptile, please message me. I’m in Grand Rapids and can meet at a public spot to return it.
I found a small sunburst ukulele this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the Grand Rapids Public Library on Library Street, near Rosa Parks Circle. It's a Kala soprano ukulele, in nice shape with a green fabric strap still attached and a panda sticker on the back. There's a tiny nick along the edge of the body and a bit of fret wear, but it still sounds and plays pretty nicely. If the owner sees this, reach out here and we can arrange a safe meetup to return it—I'm sure it means a lot to someone.
I found a black North Face backpack near the Grand Rapids Farmers Market. It was sitting alone by one of the stalls around noon on Saturday. The bag has several pockets and contains a water bottle, a notebook, and a few pens inside. If anyone can describe it or knows who it belongs to, please get in touch!
I found a black leather messenger bag just outside the Grand Rapids Public Library on October 15th. It looks like it belongs to a student – there are some notebooks and a laptop charger inside. I wanted to return it to its owner since it seems like it could be important to them.
I found a set of gardening tools in the playground near Riverside Park in Grand Rapids. They were left next to a bench, and I took them home thinking someone might have misplaced them. The spade has a wooden handle, and the trowel is silver and shiny. Hoping to reunite them with their owner!
