Lost holiday decorations in Grand Forks
I spent Sunday night getting the house ready for a little family gathering, but at 7:45 PM last Friday I realized a box of holiday decorations was missing. The box sat on the living room coffee table, just a few feet from the front window, near the Alerus Center on 42nd Street South in Grand Forks. Inside I kept a pine-cone wreath, a string of warm-white lights, a handful of glass ornaments, and a ceramic snowman with a chipped hat. I'm anxious about not having them for our small celebration tomorrow, and I miss the sparkle they bring to our tree. If you found a dusty red-and-green box near the entrance to my building, please keep it safe for me.

I found a small digital glucose meter kit this afternoon around 3:15pm, left on a bench outside the UND Bookstore on 2nd Ave in downtown Grand Forks. It's in a light blue plastic case with a white lid and a tiny yellow sun sticker on the lid. Inside there are a few test strips and the meter itself looks gently used but functional. I think I left my gray RainEdge compact umbrella yesterday around 3pm outside the UND Bookstore on University Ave, near the student union. The brand RainEdge is printed on the fabric, and one rib has a tiny dent while the silver tip is a bit scuffed; the word 'RAIN' is embroidered in white on the panel. It was a gift from my grandmother and has sentimental value, so I'd really appreciate it if someone could find it. It came in a tan faux-leather case engraved with my initials AH on the inside flap.
