LOST passports near Empire Mine, Grass Valley

Last Friday at 5:15 p.m., I was leaving the Empire Mine State Historic Park parking lot in Grass Valley when my passports vanished from my backpack. The late afternoon light turned the pines gold, and I was texting my sister about our trip ahead. I retraced steps past the visitor center and near the old tailings pond, but the lot stayed quiet and nothing turned up. Those documents are crucial for my upcoming flight, and the thought of losing them is weighing on me.

Lost kittens in Gold Country, California, last night.

On Friday around 9:15 PM I opened the back door to check the yard and my two kittens bolted into the alley behind Placerville's Main Street. They’re tiny, with one orange tabby and white paws, the other a gray tabby with a white nose. I called their names as the bells rang at the old courthouse and the neon sign of the Gold Country Mercantile flickered, but they didn’t come back. I’ve retraced the block, checked the sheds, and asked a few neighbors, but I’m left worrying about them in the cool evening air. If you’ve seen two little furballs darting through backyards near that area, please think of me and keep an eye out for them.

Lost driver's license near Auburn, Gold Country, CA

I realized my driver's license was missing after a hike along the American River Canyon near Auburn, around 2:15 pm today. I backtracked the trail and checked a few shops on Main Street, but nothing turned up. The card is standard-issue with my photo, and it’s essential I replace it soon. I’m hoping the finder understands how stressful it is to lose something so important in Gold Country.

Lost studs on Coloma Main Street

I lost my silver studs around 7:30 p.m. last Friday while wandering Coloma's Main Street near the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. They’re small, silver posts—simple, but they mean a lot to me because they belonged to my grandmother. I must have taken them off to wipe off a smudge and walked away without realizing. I asked two shop clerks and checked the park path, but no luck. If you found a tiny pair of silver studs on the sidewalk near the park, please drop them back here so I can get them back.

Lost ties near Empire Mine parking, Gold Country

Hi, I'm Ava Martinez. I lost my two ties on Friday around 1:15 PM in Grass Valley, Gold Country, near the Empire Mine State Historic Park parking lot. One is a navy silk tie with a subtle stripe, the other a charcoal-gray tie; they were tucked into a tote I carry for work interviews. I was hopping between a cafe on Mill Street and a boutique nearby when I realized they were gone. If you happened to see them, I’d be grateful to have them back for my upcoming interview.

Lost equipment for Various Sports in Gold Country, California

I am Ethan Brooks. I lost equipment for various sports—rackets, a softball glove, and a water bottle—from the bench outside the Coloma Recreation Center near Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park around 9:30 a.m. today. The area was busy with other players and hikers, and now I feel anxious about getting back to practice. If anyone saw a blue duffel bag on the bench or knows where it went, I would be grateful for a heads-up.
