Lost kittens in Gold Country, California, last night.

Description

On Friday around 9:15 PM I opened the back door to check the yard and my two kittens bolted into the alley behind Placerville's Main Street. They’re tiny, with one orange tabby and white paws, the other a gray tabby with a white nose. I called their names as the bells rang at the old courthouse and the neon sign of the Gold Country Mercantile flickered, but they didn’t come back. I’ve retraced the block, checked the sheds, and asked a few neighbors, but I’m left worrying about them in the cool evening air. If you’ve seen two little furballs darting through backyards near that area, please think of me and keep an eye out for them.
