Lost saxophones on Grass Valley Main Street

At about 7:45 p.m. last Friday, I was wrapping up a casual jam on Grass Valley's Main Street and chatting with a friend when I realized my saxophones weren’t where I left them. They rested in their black cases by the curb, and now they’re gone. The evening air smelled like rain and freshly brewed coffee from the corner café, and the neon glow along the storefronts felt unreal without them. I’ve played these horns since college, and the idea of them being out there without me is tearing at my gut.
