Bright red beach umbrella with yellow trim
I found a bright red beach umbrella with a yellow trim this afternoon around 2:45pm along the Seawall Blvd near the 27th Street Beach Access in Galveston. The canopy is about 6 feet across and the fabric shows some sun fade; the fiberglass ribs are solid, and the pole has a small dent at the bottom. There’s a white sticker with the initials 'LJ' on the carrying sleeve, and it was lying in the sand near the bike racks by the lifeguard stand. If the owner sees this, please reach out so I can help you get it back—it's obviously been used and meant something to someone.
Red Santa hat with white fur trim
I found this red Santa hat this afternoon around 4:15pm outside the Galveston Pleasure Pier, along Seawall Boulevard near 25th Street. It's a bright red felt hat with a chunky white faux-fur trim and a fluffy white pom-pom that still jingles when I shake it. Inside, there’s a small blue snowflake pin sewn to the lining and a tiny green bell on the pom-pom that rings softly. The hat is in good condition aside from a little sunscreen smudge from the boardwalk, and it clearly feels special—like a gift or a favorite seasonal piece; if the owner recognizes these details, I’d be glad to help return it.
