Orange-spined mystery paperback found near library
I found a paperback mystery with an orange spine this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Fresno Main Library, near the L Street entrance where the bike racks sit. It's about 320 pages, slightly creased from travel, and there's a bright blue bookmark sticking out. On the back cover is a tiny coffee stain and a handwritten note that says 'M. Chen' along with a small sticker from a local bookstore. I figured someone might be missing it and would really appreciate getting it back. If this sounds like yours, reach out and I’ll hold onto it safe and sound.
Yellow paperback gardening guide found in Fresno Tower District
I found a yellow paperback gardening guide this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the Save Mart on Blackstone Ave near the Tower District in Fresno. It's a roughly 200-page print with a bright yellow cover, slightly worn edges, and a blue gel bookmark sticking out around page 84. There's a coffee ring on the back, and someone drew a tiny sun on the title page. I’m posting here in case the owner is looking for it; I’d feel better knowing this printed media made it back to someone who uses it for weekend garden projects. If you lost it, message me and we can meet in Old Town Fresno or at the Fresno County Library to swap.
Blue hardcover mystery novel with fox bookmark
I lost my blue hardcover mystery novel yesterday around 3pm. It's a Penguin Classics edition, about 350 pages, with a worn spine and a tiny coffee stain on the back; inside the cover there's a small orange fox doodle and a red ribbon bookmark protruding from the pages. I think I left it near the Starbucks on Olive Ave in the Tower District of Fresno after a quick sit-down, and I didn’t notice until I reached the bus stop. This book is sentimental—it's a gift from my grandmother—so I’d really appreciate getting it back if anyone found it.
Lost cookbook 'The Joy of Cooking' with personal notes and dog-eared pages left at a café in downtown Fresno.
I accidentally left my favorite cookbook, 'The Joy of Cooking,' at a café in downtown Fresno last Saturday. It has some personal notes in the margins and a few pages are dog-eared. I really hope someone turns it in! My contact info is inside the front cover.
