Found vintage coin collection in red tin
I found a small red metal tin of coins this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Fort Dodge Public Library, near the bike racks at the 2nd Ave S entrance. The tin is about 3x2 inches with a dented lid and a faded Fort Dodge Coin Club sticker on top. Inside are roughly 35 coins from the 1940s–1960s, mostly wheat pennies and silver dimes, plus a few foreign coins; they’re in decent condition with natural patina. There’s a handwritten card tucked under the coins that says 'Alex – Fort Dodge'. It looks like a personal collection and I’d really like to see it back with its owner.
Blue plush dragon Ember with rainbow wings
I lost my blue plush dragon, Ember, yesterday around 3pm near the Walgreens on 5th Avenue South in Fort Dodge. It's about 12 inches tall, soft blue fur with a white belly, rainbow wings, and a tiny silver star stitched on its chest. There's a small tear at the wing seam and some light pilling from lots of hugs. It was a gift from my grandma, so it means a lot to me—I'd really love to have Ember back if anyone found it.
Found hand-painted ceramic vase with intricate floral designs near the park bench in Fort Dodge.
I found a beautiful hand-painted ceramic vase with intricate floral designs near the park in Fort Dodge. It looks quite special and was left sitting on a bench without any sign of its owner. I would love to return it to whoever lost it, as it seems like a cherished decorative piece.
