Lost toasters in Key West, Florida Keys
Last Friday at about 8:30 p.m., I realized my two toasters were missing from the kitchen counter of our little guesthouse on Duval Street, Key West, just a few blocks from Mallory Square. The kitchen was bright with a red-and-white checkered curtain and a row of seashell magnets on the fridge. We had left them cooling on the counter after a sunset grilling and must have left without them when we headed out for a night on Duval Street. They’re generic white mini toasters, nothing fancy, but we use them every morning and the memory of them makes me ache to have them back near the water.

Found a navy blue duvet cover set with white palm leaves this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking area behind the Key West Aquarium on Duval Street. It’s a queen-size duvet cover with two matching pillowcases, soft cotton, and in pretty good condition, just a small snag along the top edge. There’s a tiny stitched label inside that says 'SeaBreeze' and a faint coffee stain near the corner of the duvet. It looks like it was left by someone staying at a nearby hotel; feels a bit sentimental to think it might matter to someone. If it’s yours, we can meet near Mallory Square at sunset to hand it over—send a note here and we’ll sort a time.

I found a teal ceramic table lamp with a brass base this afternoon around 4pm. It was sitting on a curb near the parking lot behind Margaritaville Cafe on Duval Street in Key West. The lamp stands about 18 inches tall, with a glossy teal glaze and a brass base with a small patina. The linen shade shows a tiny tear along the seam, and there is a small chip on the bottom rim. The cord is an old braided fabric and there is a sticker on the underside that reads 'Made in Portugal.' If this belongs to you, I'm happy to return it.

I lost my favorite soft blue quilt adorned with seashell patterns while vacationing in the Florida Keys last week. I accidentally left it behind at one of the beachside cafes after sharing a meal. I’ve been so upset about it, as it has sentimental value and is perfect for those warm nights. If anyone turns it in, I would love to have it back!

I lost a black and yellow set of professional screwdrivers while working on my boat at the marina near Key West. I suspect they may have fallen out of my toolbox while I was loading supplies. If anyone finds them, I would greatly appreciate your help returning them!
